eZpublish is a complex PHP based CMS system which Grand Union used for some of their projects. It's not easy to pick up, and there aren't many developers in the UK who are familiar with it, which is why I wouldn't recommend it. On the other hand, that's exactly the reason why I am thinking of learning it!
