When Asos (formerly As Seen On Screen) decided to embrace social media and bring production inhouse, I was hired by the marketing dept and spent about six months there, until social media was brought under the umbrella of the creative dept.
It was an enjoyable learning experience, I learned a lot about how marketing works, and how to use technology to build a relationship with an audience ever hungry for new content.
